The next section of NCERT Solutions Chapter 9 EVS is a poem on Clouds, written by Harish Nigam. He describes clouds with the help of colours like white, grey, and black. These clouds keep changing their shapes. Sometimes they look like elephants, sometimes like horses, and other times like dogs or fawns. The poet says that clouds appear like a flock of swans flying and the next moment they disappear. Clouds are visible for many days making the weather cooler and sometimes they don’t come for many days making the weather very hot. Clouds bring rain sometimes and sometimes they just bring thunder. They spread the colour of a rainbow at times. Clouds at times throw sleet breaking the glasses but whenever clouds come, in any form, the chimes keep ringing with happiness and delight.
